Job Summary:
The primary focus of this position is to support the customer transmission and/or distribution resources, executing inspection and repair work through Northern California. Office will be co-located at customer utility facility and/or at company headquarters. Provides a variety of support, administrative, and operations tasks. Deals with a diverse group of employees, external callers, and Utility customer interactions. This role requires independent judgment and the ability to plan, prioritize, and organize diversified workload.
Example of Duties:
- Reviewing EC Notification data within multiple Excel files
- Researching EC Notification data within PG&E’s systems, including SAP, GIS
- Update Excel files and PG&E databases based off findings
- Frequent/daily meetings with PG&E regarding data findings
- On the job training with lower-level coordinators
- Communicate with multiple programs to resolve daily tag issues
- Utilization of the PG&E portal to access circuit maps, work order maps, FIM maps, CSS, TLM
- Data entry and database maintenance
- Proficient with Pro Energy and PG&E policies and procedures
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Create job aids as required
Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Competent in managing workflow, planning, scheduling, deadlines, and reporting work execution with minimal errors
- Ability to understand, interpret, explain, and apply rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of expense and capital work differences
- Knowledge of utility industry work types
- Strong knowledge of Excel and SAP
- Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Leadership skills
- Willing to learn quickly
- Ability to own task and take charge when needed
Experience/Education:
- A minimum of 5-10 years of work experience in the electrical transmission and distribution industry, often with 10+ years in a coordination role
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Past PG&E experience preferred
Licenses/Certifications:
- Possession of a valid California driver's license, Class C, with the ability to maintain insurability under the company’s insurance carrier.
