Waldron Contracting Services is looking for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Office Assistant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various administrative tasks and maintaining accurate records through meticulous data entry. Experience in the construction industry is required.

Key Responsibilities
· Perform accurate and efficient data entry, ensuring the integrity of our records and databases.
· Organize and maintain office documents, files, and records with a keen attention to detail.
· Manage all accounting operations inclusive of A/P, A/R, Payroll.
· Daily management of card / bank accounts to ensure all activities are posted.
· Analyze and report on WC and GL audits, job costing and OH.
· Month end processes to ensure timely close out of month end.
· Generate month end reports for Owner.
· Process payroll on a weekly basis.
· Collect, track, and maintain W-9 forms and insurance certificates for all subcontractors.
· Additional accounting projects at the direction of Controller.
· Provide exceptional customer service via answering phones, being initial point of contact for walk-ins, and participating in client communications.
· Organize and maintain office documents, files, and records with a keen attention to detail.
· Office organization and ensuring office supplies are properly stocked.
· Coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings, events.
· Assist with HR related tasks and requirements.
· Tracking and managing vehicle maintenance, registrations, etc.
· Job close out packages at end of projects.

Our ideal candidate would possess the following skills & attributes
· Associates degree in accounting or equivalent experience.
· Positive & outgoing personality.
· Strong general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliation and payroll knowledge
· 3+ years office experience in the construction industry.
· Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
· Strong attention to detail.
· QuickBooks expertise.
· Computer savvy: MS Office, Outlook, Adobe, BuilderTrend.
· Flexibility and adaptability.
· Willingness to perform other duties that may not specifically fit the above job description.
· Understands importance of confidentiality.
