Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Comptroller to join our team. As a Comptroller, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of our organization, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. Your expertise in financial management and reporting will be instrumental in driving our company's success.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all financial operations, including general ledger reconciliation, accounts receivable, and balance sheet reconciliation
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP and IFRS standards
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and variance analysis
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets and monitor budget performance throughout the year
- Ensure timely completion of month-end and year-end closing processes
- Coordinate external audits and provide necessary documentation to auditors
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in financial management
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's degree preferred)
- CPA certification is highly desirable
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS standards
- Proficiency in financial management software (e.g., Xero) and advanced MS Excel skills
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in public accounting is a plus
