Job Title: Comptroller / Manager of Finance
Location: Lake County, Florida (Onsite, 5 days/week)

About the Role : Our client is interested in identifying and hiring a highly motivated and experienced Comptroller to lead financial operations. In this role you'll be a key strategic partner, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timely reporting of financial activities while mentoring and developing the financial services team (4-6 employees).
Responsibilities:
- Financial Management :
- Oversee all accounting functions, including monthly close, general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and fixed assets.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements) for senior management and external stakeholders.
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with all financial regulations.
- Manage budgeting and forecasting processes to provide accurate financial projections.
- Financial Reporting :
- Lead the preparation of accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports according to GAAP principles.
- Work closely with external auditors to facilitate smooth and efficient audits.
- Manage communication of financial information to various stakeholders, including senior management, board of directors, and investors.
- Team Leadership:
- Supervise and mentor two Accounts Payable Coordinators and two Accounts Receivable Coordinators.
- Create and maintain a positive and productive work environment within the finance team.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of assigned tasks by team members.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a comparable leadership role within a multi-entity organization.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and GAAP.
- Proven track record of financial reporting accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Proficient in financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, Microsoft Excel).
