- Content and Calendar Planning: Generate compelling ideas for blog posts and newsletters. Assist in managing a football-centric content calendar, including planning around transfer windows and major football events for the next 6-12 months.
- Automated News Feed: Initiate and oversee an automated news feed focusing on football, leveraging trends to propose fresh content ideas.
- Formatting and Design: Investigate and suggest enhancements in our content formatting. Participate in crafting visually engaging newsletters and blog posts.
- Visual Content Ideation: Collaborate with our design team to conceive visuals that captivate football fans, aligning with Matchday’s brand ethos.
- Research: Conduct in-depth research on football-related topics, enriching our content and engaging our audience.
- Social Media Analysis and Strategy: Analyse social media metrics to inform strategy development, enhancing Matchday’s online presence among football fans.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Must be fluent in UK English. Living in Europe.
- A profound passion for football and a comprehensive understanding of its global community.
- Currently enrolled in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a similar field.
- Superior writing, proofreading, and communication abilities.
- A creative mindset is adept at generating innovative ideas.
- Capable of both independent work and teamwork.
