Position Title:
LTSS Training Specialist
Job Description:
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Hours: M - F Standard working hours
Travel: 25-30% travel around the state of Indiana
Position Overview:
The LTSS Training Specialist is responsible for the development and execution of Specialized Populations training programs and delivery solutions meeting both federal and multi-state requirements. Provides subject matter expertise in specialized populations (LTSS, IDD, Child welfare, complex populations, and waiver programs) and person-centered care planning. Individual will train and educate others to deliver a person-centered approach to supporting complex populations.
How You Will Make an Impact:
- Facilitates learning events that are performance-based in nature
- Delivers synchronous and asynchronous learning events using varied media in virtual and in-person environments
- Employs rapid course development methodologies to quickly meet market needs
- Exercises classroom management including learner performance and escalates issues to leadership when necessary
- Measures, tracks and evaluates learner and market satisfaction
- Thinks and acts globally and is aware of learning and cultural differences that drive learner effectiveness
- Keeps technical skills updated
Required Qualifications:
- BA/BS in related field and a minimum of 3 years training experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Four years of clinical or sales experience and certification/license in the appropriate field required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a Care Coordination, Case Management, or related role strongly preferred
- Experience creating training content for different levels of organization preferred
- Received Training in person-centered thinking principles preferred
- Excellent Communication skills is a must

Elevance Health operates in a Hybrid Workforce Strategy.
