Pinterest is looking for an experienced communications specialist who will build and deliver the Internal Communications and employee engagement strategy for our Chief Product, Engineering, and Content Officers. In this position, you will play a key role in driving these leaders' Internal Communications both within their organizations and across the company for major moments.
What you'll do:
- Serve as trusted advisor on all things internal comms to our C-level executives, guiding the strategy and execution of their Internal Communications engagements
- Craft messaging and narratives that capture leader voices
- Create campaigns and comms plans that effectively communicate our Engineering, Product, and Design strategies and launches, mapping back to core company objectives
- Write and manage key channels, including: executive emails, messaging for business updates and announcements, team town halls, talking points, executive engagement plans, and more
- Implement tracking and reporting to measure progress against organizational objectives
What we're looking for:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- A strategic mindset and project management skills
- Must be comfortable collaborating with and advising senior leaders, including delivering feedback
- Proven success implementing programs that inform and delight employees, especially for technical audiences
- Experience executing reactive comms including change communications and crisis management
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to execute communications plans and programs and drive consistency and alignment across the organization
- A strong understanding of how to leverage internal channels and collaboration tools strategically
- 5+ years of experience in communications (including Internal Communications), preferably in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, or equivalent experience
