Job Description
We are seeking a Contract Internal Communications Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of the Marketing & Communications (MarCom) department, you will play a crucial role in crafting and disseminating Internal Communications to keep our team members informed and engaged. This contract position offers the opportunity to contribute to various aspects of Internal Communications, including Space Maxtranet (intranet) content creation, employee communications, Town Hall support, monitoring MarCom job requests, awards & nominations, and other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand internal communication needs and objectives.
- Create and curate engaging content for Space Maxtranet and other internal communication channels to keep team members informed and motivated.
- Support the planning and execution of Town Hall meetings and other internal events, as needed.
- Assist in monitoring MarCom job requests and coordinating Internal Communications projects accordingly.
- Develop and implement strategies to promote company initiatives, achievements, and updates internally.
- Contribute to the creation of marketing materials and promotional campaigns aimed at both external and internal audiences.
- Assist in managing the company's internal awards and nominations process.
- Provide support for various marketing and communications tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Internal Communications, marketing, or related roles.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Experience with digital marketing and/or brand management is a plus.
- Knowledge of aerospace or manufacturing industries preferred.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or Permanent Resident.
