Summary
The Unified Communication Technician will learn to analyze and define business and technical requirements of complex, converged Avaya architectures while working alongside experienced Unified Communications Engineers. This position will receive assignments from the Resource Scheduler, Project Manager or Director. The Technician will keep detailed records for time reporting, customer records for billing purposes.
Essential Functions
- Assists customers and Unified Communication Engineers in executing successful Unified Communication projects
- Participates in managing workloads in a manner that meets defined deadlines
- Develops positive working relationships with internal and external customers
- Works directly with Unified Communication Engineers in learning the delivery of consulting engagements
- Works directly with Unified Communication Engineers to experience and learn about the voice technologies and other components that make up the core Avaya Collaboration product family
Required Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote)
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and prioritization skills
- Understands the interpersonal and cultural dynamics that influence the change process
- Strong people skills to build relationships with our sales reps and leaders
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and with written documentation
- Ability to apply judgment, implement solutions, and resolve conflicts, all in a multi-tasked environment
- Ability to work independently, cross-functionally, and on multiple initiatives at the same time with a demonstrable record of driving results
Desired/Preferred Qualifications
- Must have junior or senior status in a degree program at a 4-year accredited college/university
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, or related field of study at an accredited college/university
- Must have a minimum cumulative 3.2 GPA

Pay Range
$16.00 - $21.00/hr.
Base pay ranges are estimated. Actual base pay will be based on education, experience, location, certifications, skill set, and any other relevant factors. Incentive/variable pay opportunities are in addition to base pay.
