PURPOSE AND NATURE OF WORK
Positions in the class are responsible for assisting customers with communications service orders (Video, Internet, and Phone). Responds to inquiries regarding equipment orders, billing matters, and trouble calls as well as marketing telecommunications services. Explains policies and procedures concerning communications services, costs and rates; makes sales presentations and explains service bundles and pricing. Analyzes and answers questions about complex bills. Works rotating Saturdays.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
Graduation from high school with substantial experience in Communications Customer Service; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
TYPE OF EXAMINATION - Examination will be a multiple-choice test.
