Position Summary:
This intern position will assist in commercial issues and program management activities associated customer vehicle programs. This individual is developing the knowledge and experience to understand the customer's expectations, develop a plan to meet internal and external expectations.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Capability to handle commercial responsibility for production programs
- Processes initial quotes for program acquisition and contractual changes for all responsible programs. Ensures that quotes are quoted on time, and in collaboration with operations, engineering and cost estimating
- Coordinates with manufacturing and purchasing on cost/inventory
- Perform Program Management responsibilities for production programs, when required
- Grow and develop cross-functional customer relationships with all disciplines
- Support Sales Analysts
- Understands and properly utilizes internal systems and procedures such as Windchill, AutoQuote, Campfire, WERS, eSupplier and SharePoint
- May, on occasion, be required to perform duties other than those specified in this description
Education and Qualifications:
- Senior level student with a Business Administration/ Marketing major
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in business or a related field at an accredited university with a minimum 2.8 GPA
- This position is eligible to work remotely, supporting daily/ weekly meetings by Microsoft Teams. Will be required to meet on-site occasionally, at our Northville, MI Headquarters throughout the internship.
- Have effective communication skills and be comfortable leading/ collaborating with diverse teams.
- Have a basic understanding for, or interest in honing business financial skills.

- Must wear proper personal protection equipment while on the manufacturing floor
- Travel to prototype, lab, manufacturing facilities or customer locations when required
