WHAT'S YOUR DAY LIKE AS A COMMERCIAL PROPERTY MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT
As a Commercial Property Management Assistant at Tarragon Property Services, you're instrumental in day-to-day operations. Develop and maintain relationships with tenants, customers, and vendors, ensuring responsive services. Collaborate on preventative maintenance programs, oversee property inspections, and assist with capital projects. Review leases, manage supplier relationships, and maintain certificates of insurance. Facilitate tenant move-in/move-out processes and keep property files organized, updating the database with accurate information. Your role is crucial to maintaining smooth operations and stakeholder satisfaction.

WHAT'S NEEDED FROM A COMMERCIAL PROPERTY SERVICES ASSISTANT?
- High school diploma or demonstrated industry experience
- 3+ years as an Assistant Property Manager for commercial properties
- Demonstrate financial analysis skills
- Strong knowledge of Commercial Property operations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Suite
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent customer service skills and relationship-building skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced work environment, balancing multiple projects/tasks and consistently meeting deadlines
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and auto insurance
- Able to lift 25 pounds
The following traits are preferred:
- College degree
- Experience with Property Management software including Yardi, Avid, or equivalent programs
