The Assistant Housekeeping Manager ensures standards of cleanliness, hygiene and tidiness are maintained throughout the property and to manage the housekeeping and laundry department efficiently to maintain standards and control costs.

What Will You Do?
- Responsible for maintaining pristine level of cleanliness throughout suites and property.
- Monitors the preventative maintenance of the property.
- Creates and maintains a highly motivated and customer orientated team that exceeds high end customer service.
- Assists in managing, maintaining, and controlling housekeeping labor costs.
- Assists with the in-house laundry oversight, purchasing, inventory, and labor controls.
- Inspects guest rooms, public areas, pool, etc. after being cleaned to ensure quality standards.
- Runs room reports, verifies room status, determines discrepant rooms, prioritizes room cleaning, and updates status of departing guest rooms.
- Ensures all rooms are available for sale and all deficiencies are amended.
- Partners with management to coordinate the efforts of Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry.
- Manages and monitors all guest requests sent from Guest Services to ensure they are completed, documented, and resolved.
- Organizes and properly tracks lost and found.
- Manages, hires, trains, coordinates schedules, motivates, and assists with coaching and of housekeeping employees.
- Reports any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries, complete safety training and certifications.
- Ensures employees follow all company safety and security policies and procedures.
- Performs other duties as required.
What You Bring?
- Must be highly motivated and able to work independently
- Possess effective verbal and written communication skills
- Basic reading skills
- Must be organized and able to prioritize and multi-task
- Possess basic knowledge of workplace safety procedures
- Ability to speak Vietnamese considered an asset
