Summary:

* Production welding Pipe, Tube, Plate.

* Maintenance and repair welding.

* Read and understand blueprints.

* Follow welding procedures: Understand what procedure should be used based on material being joined.

* Check finished work to be sure that it falls within the tolerances marked on blueprints.

This is a production environment that requires detail to attention always. Many different types of projects into our shop on a weekly basis. You could weld plate today and tube/pipe tomorrow, all depending on workload and projects due.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications
- Perform welding and fitting tasks according to project requirements
- Use various welding techniques, such as stick, tig, mig welding, to join metal components
- Operate power tools and equipment, such as grinders and drills, to prepare materials for welding
- Assemble and fabricate metal components using welding techniques
- Conduct inspections to ensure the quality of welded joints
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within specifications
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area

Qualifications:
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and welding specifications
- Experience with various welding techniques, including stick, tig and mig welding
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of fabrication processes
- Ability to use power tools and equipment safely and effectively
- Familiarity with pipe threading, press brake machines, and forklift operation is a plus
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Ability to operate a crane is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work

Pay: $25.00 - $33.00 per hour
