ASP is looking for a highly motivated Collections Specialist to join our Finance & Accounting Team. This is a great opportunity to join a large multinational with lots of room to grow. As a member of our team, Collections Specialist will work with our key customers to ensure that invoices are paid in a timely manner, while delivering world class customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts with open balances for an assigned account portfolio.
- Initiate and pursue collection of past due invoices via emails & calls.
- Timely follow-up on payment promised and enforce payment terms.
- Reconcile accounts and research invoices, escalate as needed.
- Work closely with the customer to resolve past due invoices and short payments.
- Research and document customer overpayments for refund processing.
- With help of AR analyst timely and acutely respond to customer inquiries related to billing statements.
- Recommend account credits and write-offs to Collections Manager.
- Ad-hoc duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Our Needs:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or equivalent work experience.
- 2+ years' experience in B2B collection.
- Ability to develop, strengthen and maintain strong relationships with internal & external customers, so they can be leveraged when needed to resolve collections challenges.
- Customer obsessed with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Experience in an ERP system, preferably SAP.
- Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, proactive with the ability to work well within a team while also being a strong individual contributor.

The salary range for this position is $41,500- $77,100
This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package.
Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge; skills; experience; and other eligibility factors such as geographic location.
