What you will do:
- Based in Houston, TX or New Iberia, LA, reporting directly to the Credit Manager.
- Responsible for overseeing the organization's credit policy, including assessing credit applications, and managing outstanding credit.
- Apply appropriate credit lines and payment terms to new client and supplier accounts in accordance with company policy.
- Generate invoices, process payments, and verify client credit approval for accounts receivable. Conduct receivable age analysis and reporting.
- Assist in managing bad debts and reporting write-offs. Follow up daily through telephone/email for collections of debts, ensuring proactive management of customer accounts.
- Monitor customer accounts to ensure compliance with payment terms, maintain accurate records of customer contacts and accounts, and support in opening new accounts and reviewing existing ones. Collaborate with teammates to achieve customer service excellence.
We are experts, which means you will have the following skills and experience:
- University Degree / Specialized Diploma / Vocational Training or equivalent years of experience
- Power user of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Work, Teams, and other software programs
- Ability to prioritize and respond with the appropriate sense of urgency
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Preferred experience in operations or the rental industry preferred
