Compensation: $20.00/hour


Position Summary: This position is responsible for credit and collections, as well as updating and maintaining the collections database.


Work Location: 108 S. Jackson Street, Auburn, IN


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Heavy emphasis on customer service while maintaining high call volume
  • Work to minimize past due accounts receivable
  • Perform/send/maintain - Collection Calls, Past Due Notices, Statements, New Business Hold and Suspension Notices
  • Update collections database as needed with customer contacts, payment status, customer correspondence, etc.
  • Posting cash receipts in accounting software
  • Enter special handling invoices into customer portals
  • Create and/or distribute correspondence, spreadsheets, charts and presentations as requested
  • Liaising with staff in other departments and with external contacts
  • Serves as a role model in displaying initiative and assertiveness with positive problem-solving techniques and willingly performs non-assigned duties as needed
  • Self-motivation and direction, with keen attention to detail
  • Promote proper work ethic and enforce the Company’s policies, procedures, and practices
  • Required moderate supervision
  • Travel as required
  • Other duties as assigned, including administrative duties

Requirements:

Required Education and Experience:

  • Required High school degree or equivalent

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

  • Ability to sit for extended period. Able to be mobile throughout Team Quality Services facilities and customer locations
  • Ability to work with and around others, up to 2/3 of work period
  • Ability to lift or push a minimum of 20 pounds
  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a scanner, computer keyboard, mouse, and other computer components and software
  • Occasional participation in events outside of regular office hours may be necessary that may include attendance at community meetings and events.
  • Travel to TQS customer or service locations may be required
  • Candidate must comply with all customer and service location requirements, including, but not limited to, vaccination status. Employment for this position is contingent on the candidate obtaining and maintaining all customer and service location requirements, which may be subject to change at any time.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Demonstrates the ability to organize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Demonstrates the ability to organize and sort paperwork, documents, and other computer-based information
  • Demonstrates the ability to photocopy and print various documents
  • Demonstrates the ability to use written and verbal communication skills to deal effectively with diverse groups of people including proficiency in using a telephone/cellphone
  • Knowledge of PC software applications including Word, Excel, and Company Software i.e., QNET, HubSpot and Sage
