Position Overview: ACI Industries is currently seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our production team. The CNC Machinist will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-quality components according to specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC machining, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, milling, turning, and cutting.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine machining requirements.
- Select the appropriate tools, fixtures, and materials needed for each job.
- Load and unload workpieces into the CNC machine and adjust machine settings to ensure proper performance.
- Monitor the machining process and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and accuracy.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts.
- Inspect finished components for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
- Troubleshoot issues with CNC machines and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or diploma in CNC machining preferred.
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming and machine operations.
- Familiarity with a variety of CNC machines and controls.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
