Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled CNC Machinists for projects located in and around Grafton, WI. This is a full time opportunity with a pay rate of up to $30/hour based on experience & skill level. Job Scope:
Set up & operate CNC multi-tasking machining centers, CNC multi-tasking laathes, CNC lathes, 3/4/5 axis CNC machining centers, manual lathe, etc.
Work from factory work orders, routings, drawings, process drawings, layout sheets, & written or verbal instructions
Perform complex program edits to G-code CNC programs
Prepare for next work order and communicate with leads if issues occur when performing preset up operations
Inspect work produced including 1st piece inspection
Identify and report non-conformance issues
Communicate with others to identify problems, provide feedback, and work on solutions
Identify potential continuous improvement CI opportunities and participate as a team member for Kaizen, SMED, & other lean activities
Utilize knowledge of working properties and machining processes for a wide variety of materials such as stainless steels, duplex stainless steels, monel, inconel, and other nickel alloys, cast iron, carbon steel, bronze, etc.
Follow preventative maintenance procedures on equipment as prescribed by maintenance and ME groups and immediately reporting equipment failures and inconsistencies
Other tasks as assigned
Requirements:
Experience with Work offset, Tool offset, Distance to go, Menu system
Setup Experience; Ability to load programs, tools, indicate parts for setting and controlling features, understand tooling, etc.
Experience setting up Tooling; build up tools with holders, collets, & heights, etc.
Understand FANUC Controls
