- Assisting staff of the Vascular Access Service in the performance of direct patient care procedures related to (but not limited to) site assessment, PIV placement, PICC insertion, and central line dressing.
- Assisting with patient positioning and stabilization for all VAS procedures.
- Setting up of sterile field/equipment for PICC and CVC dressing change.
- Cleaning/disinfecting of U/S and visualization devices between procedures.
- Participate in workflow efficiency related to supply management, data collection, and quality improvement processes.
- Transporting and restocking supplies and equipment as needed.
- Assist with data entry for procedures.
To qualify, you must have:
- 1 year CA experience or CNA certification.
- Inpatient pediatric or hospital experience strongly preferred
- A HS Diploma or equivalent.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work on a team.
