Job Overview:
Under the supervision of the Clinical Administrative Director and the DON, the Clinical Admin will perform routine administrative and clinical tasks to maintain and support the office and to assure efficient patient flow from enrollment through provision of services. Previous experience is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Validate client insurance status and information
- Work on client authorizations
- Perform chart audits and verify proper documentation with follow up as needed
- Serve as a liaison between Clinical team and other agency departments
- Communicate with outside partners and external health providers regarding the patient's situations, status and services required
- Assist with backup coverage of the front desk
- Other duties as assigned
Skills:
- Proficiency in a medical office setting
- Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
