Essential Duties:
- Manages the telephone switchboard. Receives incoming calls, determines the nature of the calls, transfers calls to appropriate people, takes and relays messages, places long distance calls, maintains an updated intercom listing and makes general announcements over the intercom.
- Receives incoming visitors to CNS. Screens visitors and requests, determines nature of the visit, locates the appropriate person, provides information requested and takes/delivers written and verbal messages to appropriate personnel.
- Handles mailing procedures.
- Maintains office supplies.
- Conducts two-way radio transmissions with transportation as needed.
Requirements:
- High school graduation or G.E.D. required.
- One year of experience as a receptionist with light typing preferred.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It’s not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are arrived at each unique case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $21.00 per hour.
