We are a Dermatology and facial Plastic Surgery office with ocean views in the heart of Newport Beach. We're looking for an outgoing, friendly, and dependable candidate to join our tight-knit team. The candidate must have outstanding interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, be a great team player, and be committed to providing the best quality customer service to our patients.
Primary Front Office Responsibilities Will Include:
- Answering phone calls
- Responding to emails
- Scheduling patient appointments and follow-up visits
- Collecting patient paperwork
- Obtaining consents
- Verifying patient insurance
- Obtaining prior-authorizations
- Collecting co-payments and payments for cosmetic purchases
- Making confirmation phone calls
Skills required:
- At least 1-year customer service experience, preferably medical office
- Extremely detail-oriented
- Strong computer/office skills
- Strong phone skills – pleasant phone voice, with the ability to manage multiple phone lines
- Excellent communication - written/verbal and typing skills
- Team player mentality - willingness to help and take initiative
- Understanding of insurance (preferred)
- EMR experience (preferred)
- Dermatology experience (preferred)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
