Position Summary:
A Client Accounting Associate I, performs back office account research and monetary account maintenance activities on customer accounts. Associate I’s are expected to perform refund adjustments, client-driven requests and navigate third-party systems for ad-hoc inquiries. In certain instances, investigative work may also be necessary.
Essential Functions:
- Accurately processes monetary and other cash management adjustment transactions
- Processes corrections of rejected and unposted monetary items
- Maintains proper maintenance of logs, files and other records
- Maintains ongoing knowledge of products and department procedures
- Communicates proactively with Client Accounting management team on status of workload and any potential or unusual developments
- Responds to clients, client liaisons and internal department inquiries
- Conducts research and investigations on customer accounts utilizing various systems and applications
- Assists in other activities, as requested, such as ad-hoc audit requests and department-specific projects
- Performs other job duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or its equivalent education required; Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) desired, preferably in Accounting or Finance,
- One (1) year of banking/back office research and/or account maintenance experience is required

- Keyboarding proficiency
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Effectively and efficiently communicate both through verbal and written channels in a way that others are able to understand the information in a manner consistent with essential job functions
