Job Duties:
- Perform Data Entry of licenses and documents related to the Division of Charitable Games.
- Prepare documents for scanning and maintain accurate records.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of data.
- Assist in Word Processing tasks as required.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and data accuracy.
Preferred Skills:
- Proficient in Data Entry and Word Processing software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of office equipment such as scanners and printers.
- Excellent communication skills.
Misc. Information:
- The position is for the NYS Gaming Commission Division of Charitable Games.
- Full-time position, 37.5 hours per week (8:00 am - 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday).
- Parking is available at the Broadway South Lot for $12/month.
- There is a CDTA bus stop directly across the street on Broadway in Schenectady.
- Candidates will be provided on-the-job training.
- Interviews will be conducted on-site by department staff.
Restrictions:
- Ticket purchase and prize payment restrictions apply to the successful candidate.
- No temporary staff or relative living in the same household as the candidate shall purchase a New York Lottery ticket or be paid a prize in any New York Lottery game or multi-jurisdictional game the New York Lottery is a part of if they conduct duties directly pursuant to the Lottery or have access to confidential information.
