Job Title: Data Entry and Word Processing

Minimum Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Work Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in administrative support roles
- Experience with Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and other virtual platforms
- Experience in maintaining records and performing Data Entry tasks
Job Duties:
- Handle physical folders by lifting, placing them in file cabinets, and boxing them
- Perform physical and electronic filing of records
- Input data accurately and efficiently
- Update and manage daily and weekly payment logs and spreadsheets
- Handle emailing, scanning, and faxing duties
- Provide coverage for the reception desk
- Process incoming and outgoing mail
- Process payments to vendors for the District Office
- Correspond with vendors and address their inquiries
- Maintain basic financial, accounting, and statistical records
- Perform calculations and computations using standard formulas and methods
- Contact internal and external parties to obtain necessary information
- Prepare, process, review, and record numerical transactions and records
- Review financial forms for compliance with approved spending
- Maintain accounts for clerical functions such as accounts receivable or payable
- Update and correct records and files
- Screen, review, and verify documents for completeness and accuracy
Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and Forms
- Familiarity with basic financial and accounting principles
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficiency in ACCES-VR specific computer programs (preferred but not required)
Misc. Information:
- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday; 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Parking is available on site, and there is no fee associated with parking.
- The location is on a bus route for those using public transportation.
- This position may require occasional lifting and physical activity.
- Interview will be conducted in person or online based on the availability.
- Training on specific computer programs specific to ACCES-VR will be provided as needed.
