Description
Under general supervision, performs a variety of clerical and general office assistance duties in a department of Town government. Is responsible for application of departmental policies, procedures, rules and regulations to routine and repetitive work. Reports to division supervisor or department Director.
Essential Functions:- Ability to comprehend technical assignments related to Town of Davie Code of Ordinances and Florida Statutes.
- Preparation of mailings for Code cases, Magistrate cases and agenda; fulfills lien searches and public records requests, public records management of complaints, notices and all record retention.
- Interaction with the general public and delivery of effective customer service.
- May attend special magistrate hearings as back up for board secretary and assist with document preparation post-meeting.
Minimum Requirements (Must meet by the closing date of the posting unless otherwise stated)
Graduation from High School or GED equivalent and clerical experience preferred, or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities.

- Visible tattoos above the collarbone on the neck, face, head, scalp or on the hands;
- Used tobacco products within six (6) months of the date of this application;
- Not have used any illegal controlled substances within three years of the date of this application with the exception of marijuana. All applicants must not have used marijuana or cannabis in any form within one year of the date of this application.
- Steroid usage within five (5) years of the date of this application.
