SalaryPart-Time employee to assist in operations during the current tax return preparation season. You will review individual tax returns prepared by CPA’s and Enrolled Agents. This includes reviewing all tax documents and scanning to document management software. No experience is necessary. We will train on site. This is a seasonal job for the 2023 tax season through April 15, 2024 with the possibility of permanent part-time. Hours are flexible. Office hours are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, with the possibility of some Saturdays.
- Proficiency in computer programs, such as Microsoft Word and Excel is required. Ability to learn a myriad of other software programs.
- Using office equipment such as copiers and scanners. Ability to use 10-key adding machine is a plus.
- Having basic mathematical skills
- Handling sensitive and confidential information properly
- A high attention to detail and excellent organizational skills are essential
- Prior experience in a tax preparation office is a plus
- Accounting and/or bookkeeping education is a plus
