DAAR Engineering, Inc. is an award winning Wisconsin based Civil Engineering and construction management firm comprised of experienced engineers, technicians, and project managers, specializing in both public and private sector improvement projects. We are currently seeking full-time Civil Engineers in the Construction and Design fields.
POSITION
Full-time Civil Engineer positions are available in our Milwaukee, Portage, Johnson Creek, and Tomahawk offices. Benefits of the position include:

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- 1+ years of relevant experience
- Possess a broad-based knowledge of the construction and/or design process
- Knowledge of highway engineering principles found in AASHTO manuals
- Knowledge of Wisconsin Department of Transportation Facilities Development Manual (FDM) is desirable
- Knowledge of Wisconsin Department of Transportation and local agency procedures is desirable
- Certifications in WisDOT Highway Technician Certification Program are desirable
- Civil 3D experience is desirable
- Land Surveying experience is desirable
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in written, graphical, and verbal forms
- Ability to multitask a variety of office and fieldwork duties
- Ability to travel as needed for meetings, on-site inspections, etc.
- Possess both technical and problem solving skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.) required
- A valid drivers license and reliable transportation are required
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the development of highway improvement projects in accordance with established processes and procedures
- Perform highway and bridge construction inspections
- Review, read, and interpret project plans and construction documents
- Provide assistance to projects by functioning as a member of a division or project team
- Perform roadway design work as needed
PAY
Based on qualifications and experience with hourly rates starting at $30.00 per hour.
