Oneida Total Integrated Enterprises (OTIE) delivers full-service facility and infrastructure engineering design, environmental science, construction management, and munitions response services worldwide, with over 25 years of successful project performance.
OTIE is actively seeking a highly motivated, full-time Senior Civil Engineer in Wisconsin. This engineering position offers you an excellent opportunity to continue with your passion for engineering design, broaden your horizons by working on a mix of projects in southeastern Wisconsin and around the world,
You would be part of established team with a mix of junior, mid-level, and senior engineers and engineering technicians. We have a focus on the whole picture with attention on a life-work balance tying into our core values of "A Good Mind, A Good Heart, and a Strong Fire."
Key Responsibilities:
  • Communicate effectively with clients, staff, and OTIE leadership.
  • Lead the civil site design projects including site grading, sanitary sewer, water, storm sewer, and storm water management.
  • Lead the evaluation and design of infrastructure facilities for sanitary sewer, water, and storm sewer.
  • Lead the development of all aspects of construction plans including demolition and erosion control, grading, pavements and hardscapes, plan & profile sheets, cross sections, typical sections, construction details, construction staging, and quantities.
  • Lead the preparation of documents such as project specifications, design reports, alternatives analyses, agency coordination, permitting, and cost estimates.
  • Lead the QA/QC process on civil projects.
  • Conduct technical and constructability reviews of designs by others.
  • Perform construction inspection / administration independently & as part of a team.
  • Collect, gather, and interpret field data.
  • Assist project managers to ensure that project deliverables and budgets are met.
  • Attend and participate in meetings with clients.
  • Work cooperatively with other engineers, project managers, and technicians. Mentor junior and mid-level staff.
  • Work in both office and field environments. We are open to a hybrid of remote and office work for the right candidate.
  • Travel within and outside the continental United States with a team of engineers and technicians to attend meetings and perform field work supporting worldwide Department of Defense installations.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited school
  • Professional Engineer registered in Wisconsin or with the ability to obtain Wisconsin registration within 6 months of hire.
  • Ability to travel as needed for meetings and site inspections
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and client interface skills
  • Capable of lifting and carrying 50 pounds of equipment
  • US Citizen or in possession of a valid green card

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 20+ years of planning and design experience
  • Direct project experience with site design
  • Direct project experience with storm water management for development and redevelopment
  • Direct project experience with trenchless utility construction

Compensation Range:
  • $115k - $160k
