Civil Design Engineer (PE) Summary:

Our client is a Civil Engineering Consulting Firm that specializes in Civil, Environmental, and Municipal Engineering projects including multi-family or mixed-use developments to large utility design projects for the State.

Civil Design Engineer (PE) Benefits

• Salary $100 – 130k (higher end for 10+ years of experience)

• 2 days a week onsite

Civil Design Engineer (PE) Responsibilities

• Analyze survey, mapping, and materials-testing data with computer modeling software
• Project Management
• Draw blueprints, using CAD packages
• Create engineered drawings for proposed improvements
• Ensure that engineered drawings and project solutions meet local requirements, state laws, and generally accepted engineering best management practices
• Asses construction costs, government regulations, potential environmental hazards, and other factors in planning stages and risk analysis.
• Assess the environmental impact and risks connected to projects
• Prepare bids for vendors, and report to clients, public agencies and planning bodies
• Manage, direct and monitor progress during each phase of a project
• Ensure sites meet legal guidelines and health and safety requirements.
• Present findings to the public on topics such as bid proposals, environmental impact statements, or property descriptions.
• Manage the repair, maintenance, and replacement of public and private infrastructure.
• Participate in the development of proposals.

Civil Design Engineer (PE) Requirements

• BS in Civil Engineering
• Licensed in Wisconsin as a Professional Engineer
• 2-10 years of experience with Project Management, Site/Land Engineering, Utility Design
