JOB SUMMARY: We have partners with a Register Investment Advisor with one billion AUM that has multiple business lines and offices. The Chief Operating Officer is responsible for day-to-day leadership and management of strategic initiatives related to both Operational and Human Resource initiatives. Responsible for the coordination of Company Partners and interrelated businesses to meet growth objectives and to achieve operational excellence.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Human Resources:
• Recruit and hire employees that align with company culture and meet all qualifications for the position
• To evaluate and adjust as needed written policies, procedures and controls for all operating activities to promote an effective internal and external control environment, manage risk and increase productivity
• Coordinate performance reviews, ongoing training and overall development of team
• Oversite of employee benefits and vendor management
• Liaison between team members and CEO for HR matters
• Handle escalations of team member issues Information Systems
• Oversite of technology capabilities with a goal of continually systematizing and scaling the existing technology deck and processes Operations Management and Administration
• Analyze, monitor and optimize firm operational workflows, processes and procedures in all locations. Evaluate needs and challenges to ensure alignment with firm goals and objectives
• Management of approval queues, alerts and problem resolution for the operations team to ensure in line with firm procedures
• General oversight of accounting and bookkeeping functions, including firm level billing evaluation and audits
• Work in conjunction with compliance team as needed to ensure proper reporting
