The role of the Logistics Coordinator will deliver the highest quality service in our industry through management of daily operational tasks in compliance with all relevant regulations, customer requirements and the targets of the company as part of the Cell & Gene Therapy Logistics team. Assisting in the ongoing development of Biocair’s operational ability to ensure the highest level of customer service, commerciality, quality & satisfaction.
Responsibilities will include:
- Proactively monitor the status of shipments, identify and deal with issues as they arise, such as delays, damages, or discrepancies, and implement corrective measures
- Provide the customer and/or consignee with regular, accurate and timely updates on shipment status as required
- Manage suppliers to provide a seamless extension of the appropriate Biocair service Ensure that Biocair and customer systems (where required) are kept up to date with accurate and detailed information for each shipment

In addition, you will demonstrate these key competencies:
- Direct customer service experience
- Previous experience in logistics coordination, preferably in the biopharmaceutical or healthcare industry
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with internal teams, external partners, and suppliers
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make quick, informed decisions under pressure
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage time-sensitive tasks
- Experience of working within one or more of the following areas: Cold chain, time sensitive multimodal freight forwarding, pharmaceutical industry

Please note that this is a full time night time role, 40 hours per week, working Monday to Friday from 20:00 to 05:00 you will be required to attend in person training based at our Carson CA office, once training is completed then this will be a remote working role.
