Position: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant CMA to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.
Job Type: Full-time (35-40 hours per week)
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 DOE per hour
Medical specialties: Primary Care/Family Practice
Schedule: varies Monday through Friday
License/Certification: BLS Certification (Preferred), Certified Medical Assistant (Required)
Responsibilities:
- Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner
- Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff
- Escort patients to exam rooms
- Perform vitals
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an MA
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Experienced Medical Assistant to perform clinical back office duties to include: patient intake for electronic medical record, triage, injections, chronic care management and medication refills as appropriate.
- Prefer previous electronic health record experience and be proficient in navigating, typing, medical terminology and medications.
