SalaryChiropractic/Functional Medicine office looking for an energetic, career minded, hard-working individual to assist Doctor. Duties will include assisting in patient exams, taking blood pressure, range of motion, in-body scan, foot scans, taking & transferring x-rays, assisting patients with rehabilitative exercises and assisting the Doctor with Spinal Correction Protocols. Teaching Home Care rehabilitative exercises to patients, handing out/reviewing Home Treatments with patients and other duties as assigned. Some cross training with other office duties, such as front desk and/or Functional Medicine protocols will also be required. A passion for natural health, nutrition, and exercise is required. Company will pay for North Carolina Chiropractic Assistant training and x-ray certification if not already received. A love of people is essential for success in this position. Must have excellent time management skills and the ability to perform expected tasks without supervision. Must be able to work challenging hours. Standard work hours: Mon: 7am-12pm & 2-6:00pm, Tues: 9:30-3:30pm, Wed: 7-12pm & 2-6:00pm, Thurs: 1:30-7:00pm, Fri: 7am-1pm. This is a full time position averaging 35-40 hours per week. No health benefits presently offered. Staff receive free chiropractic care, Functional Medicine care, and any service offered in the clinic for themselves and their immediate families. Paid time off is offered after 90 days and some holidays are paid.
