Cashier [Store #0300]

Position Summary:

Essential Functions:

· Process phone orders in a timely manner

· Takes and processes customer orders into POS system.

· Processes and totals order on POS system and apply customer payment into register.

· Processes credit cards, takes cash and makes correct change for customer payment.

· Greet and welcome customers entering the restaurant.

· Packages take home orders for customers.

· Tabulate data regarding bills, total amounts, restaurant expenses in POS system.

· Follow dress code.

· Work around various levels of temperature, including warm to extremely warm temperatures in the kitchen.

· Maintains a solid knowledge of products and services available in unit

· Cleans and stocks work area

· Maintains dining area and rest rooms

Requirements:

Education and Certifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Experience:

· Previous experience as a cashier and operating a POS system.

· Understanding of English language.

· Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to Customers, Employee and Management.

Competencies:

· Basic math skills and computer proficiency.

· Ability to work in a team environment.

· Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure

· Must have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

· Must have integrity, honesty and accountability in all dealings.

· Must be committed to quality service.

Working Conditions:

· Physical activities that require considerable use of your fingers, arms and legs.

· Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

· Must be able to hear with 100% accuracy with correction.

· Must be able to see at 20/20 vision with correction.
