With award-winning projects from Woodinville to Sammamish, they are looking for an experienced Carpenter (5 years). Essential Duties and Responsibilities
GENERAL CARPENTRY DUTIES:
- Perform carpentry at the highest level as required.
- Understands the scope of the work and discuss all requests for additional work with the PM.
- Maintain an organized field file that will include a complete set of plans, specifications, cost codes used on the job, construction documents, engineer’s reports (if any), and misc. job communications.
- Order materials except as specified by the PM and coordinate subcontractors. Code and forward all packing slips to PM weekly.
- You will be the daily face of Nip Tuck to the client. Speak honestly with the clients, and provide solutions to their questions, but do not guess or hypothesize. Soliciting help from the PM, as appropriate.
- Train temporary carpentry help and/or apprentice carpenters as needed as responsible for tracking & documenting of carpentry hours for job costing.
- Miscellaneous other duties as required.
PLANNING AND ORGANIZATION:
- Review and understand project management technology and documentation.
- Establish rhythm for communication of what happened on the job site daily.
- Have a toolset that enables you to perform a majority of tasks to a high standard.
- Search for and anticipate difficult/complex situations and ask the "how" questions.
- Maintain notes and information about the process to be added to the post-mortem.
- Maintain record of work hours and ensure timesheets are cost-coded accurately.
COMMUNICATION & DOCUMENTATION:
- Maintain daily contact with the PM informing them of progress, delays, and/or any surprises that arise.
- Document daily activities in BuilderTrend using photos and descriptions.
- Follow directions for any changes on an appropriate timeline.
RELATIONSHIPS:

ON-SITE LEAD DUTIES:
- Multi-task directing trades and labor while you stay on schedule with accurate framing and quality finish carpentry.
- Review and understand the scope of work, schedule, materials, plans, and budget for a project.
- Bring questions, discrepancies, and unusual conditions to the attention of the Project Manager (PM) ahead of the project start date.
- Plan ahead to remove any obstacles before they affect the job’s progress.
- Responsible for directing site protection of surfaces and environment, exterior parking and grounds and daily broom sweep and securing of home.
- Plan ahead for materials, obstacles, or directions as early as possible.
- Ensure job site cleanliness and safety for both the clients and the workers.
- Always secure the house by locking and closing up openings (windows/doors/walls) for the night.
- Additional duties, as needed and assigned.

Qualifications
- Must have 5+ years of carpentry experience
- Comply with and maintain non-smoker and drug-free policy
- Proficient computer skills including all Microsoft services, basic office equipment, and construction project management software (BuilderTrend preferred)
- Maintain proper safety standards on site
- Valid Washington State Driver’s License, proof of insurance, good driving record, and reliable transportation is required
- Must have smartphone and/or tablet with data service
