Form of workJoin us for an incredible opportunity to be a part of our Maintenance Team as our Carpenter, focusing on carpentry, paint, and finishes! This advanced carpentry position will support our multi-property cluster comprised of Grand Hyatt Seattle, Hyatt at Olive 8 and Hyatt Regency Seattle.
Our Carpenter will be responsible primarily for general carpentry-related projects and assignments including wood refinishing, rough and finish carpentry, and laminate-related tasks. This position will perform repairs and preventative maintenance in public spaces, back of house areas, and guest rooms. Candidates should have a minimum of (3) years of carpentry experience, and equivalent trade school training and hotel experience is preferred. As part of the Maintenance/Facilities team, candidates should have basic troubleshooting skills involving electricity, plumbing, etc. Good communication skills are necessary for this role.
The hourly rate for this position is $37.25 to $38.00. The starting rate for this position is $37.25. This position also has an established rate for colleagues who remain in the position for four years, which is $38.00.

- Open scheduling availability including evenings, weekends and holidays preferred
- Minimum 3 years carpentry experience, with special focus and technical skills in finish carpentry preferred
- Trade school training is preferred
