Job Description
We are a General Contractor (mostly residential) based in Seattle doing most work ourselves. Everyone on the job is an employee, we do not employ day-labor. We are in need of experienced laborers and leads with a variety of experience. Looking for full-time team members (36-44 hours weekly). We offer schedule flexibility, and benefits like health, dental, vision, 401k matching, paid-time-off (1 hour for every 40 worked), sick-time (1 hour for every 40 worked). Health-related benefits for employees are paid 75% by company and 25% by employee, and dependants are 100% paid by employee.

Starting hourly pay ranges from $25 - $35 DOE with a wage review after 60 days. Health benefits available after first full month of employment.
We are especially interested candidates who are experienced in any of the following
- Bags-on Lead
- Finish Carpentry
- Door Installation
- Tile Installation
- Painting - especially millwork and cabinets
- Cabinet installation
We are looking for those who love client relationships, value safety as well as quality work, enjoy learning, enjoy mentoring less experienced staff, are reliable, have access to reliable transportation and have some of their own tools.
Our goal is to have our our more experienced members focused on their trade and want our helpers to be there to prep, clean-up, and support our experienced members. Ideally looking for those who would be interested in leading 2-3 person crews. Typically one highly experienced person paired with 1-2 helpers / laborers.
Our recent jobs include remodels, deck repair, modular building assembly, cabinet installation, painting, LVP flooring installation, trim work, custom finish cabinetry. Most of our work is in Seattle north of 520 or on the Eastside- Redmond, Kirkland. Our shop space is in Seattle (near 96rd & Aurora).
Job duties and responsibilities- Be welcoming and inclusive
- Be comfortable working independently
- Willingness to do all types of work needed on job-site
- Help team members in construction projects
- Clean out the site as necessary
- Offload and transport construction materials
- Adhere to safety laws and regulations
- Value quality of work
- Previous paid experience in construction for a minimum of five years
- Have your own hand tools
- Ability to operate and use equipment and tools safely
- Hands-on experience with construction equipment like drills, hammers etc.
- Knowledge of construction operations and procedures
- Good energy and team member
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent balance and eye-hand coordination
- Ability to lift 30+ pounds
- Climb ladder
