A distinguished, surgical center is adding a Medical Customer Service-Call Center Representative to their team! This company has 16 locations in the Fort Worth area. This role offers a range of responsibilities, from creating patient records to assisting with scheduling and billing. This is a high-volume Call Center. As a Medical Customer Service-Call Center Representative, you play a crucial role in ensuring patients a great experience on their medical journey. By efficiently managing administrative tasks, scheduling appointments, and providing excellent customer service, you contribute to the overall well-being of patients. You'll collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and administrative staff.
This is a full-time, Temporary to Hire position that offers a balanced work schedule. If you enjoy multitasking and have attention to detail, this position provides ample opportunities for growth and development.
Job Duties:
- Manage incoming calls and correspondence promptly and professionally, resolving issues and answering questions effectively.
- Create patient charts and update patient demographics when necessary.
- Assist with scheduling; verify times with patients; prepare charts, pre-admission, and consent forms.
- Triage phone requests to other departments as needed.
Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in a medical or insurance industry is Required.
- 2+ years of recent Call Center experience is Required.
- Knowledge of Electronic Medical Record systems, Preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. ?
Pay: $16.00hr-$18.00/hr. based upon experience
