Job Description
The position will have the responsibility of designing, developing and releasing to production product assemblies, and sub-assemblies while working within design team atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
- Interface with the CAD system to provide necessary modeling and detailing support for existing and new assemblies and sub-assemblies.
- Interact with Manufacturing to provide acceptable designs for assembly and fabrication.
- Interact with Purchasing to provide complete engineering drawings and support documentation for all current and future designs.
- Investigate and process ECN’s through the Viking Range Process.
- Work with various Viking Range departments supplying and verifying necessary data for producing acceptable products.
- Provide assistance to other team personnel on drafting standards, engineering practices, and manufacturing materials and processes.

Requirements:
- High School education. Preferably some college courses in engineering or mechanical design.
- Knowledge of 3D Parametric CAD is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 to 5 years product design experience.
