Interior Designer

Job Overview:
We are seeking a talented and creative Interior Designer to join our team. As an Interior Designer, you will be responsible for creating functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces that meet the needs and preferences of our clients. From concept development to project completion, you will play a key role in transforming spaces into beautiful and functional environments. We are a family owned floor covering and hard surface countertop store in the construction business. We sell tile, wood, vinyl, carpet, quartz, granite, marble, etc.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to determine their goals, preferences, and budget for the project
- Develop design concepts and present them to clients for approval
- Create detailed drawings, renderings, and specifications for each project
- Select appropriate materials to enhance the space
- Coordinate with contractors, architects, and other professionals to ensure smooth project execution
- Oversee the installation of design elements and ensure they meet quality standards
- Stay updated on industry trends and new design techniques
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines

Experience:
- Proven experience as an Interior Designer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of interior design principles, concepts, and practices
- Experience with budgeting and project management
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a team

Skills:
- Budgeting: Ability to create and manage budgets for interior design projects
- Build: Understanding of construction processes and ability to work with contractors
- Interior design: Strong understanding of interior design principles, color theory, space planning, etc.
- Knowledge of local design trends and preferences
