Ready Mix Batch Plant Operator

Responsibilities:

• Operate the Ready Mix Batch Plant in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
• Monitor and control the batching process, ensuring accurate proportions of aggregates, cement, water, and admixtures are used to produce high-quality concrete.
• Adjust batch weights and water additions as necessary to ensure consistency and adherence to specified mix designs.
• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on the Batch Plant equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and coordinate with the procurement team for timely replenishment.
• Perform quality control tests on raw materials and finished concrete to ensure compliance with specifications and industry standards.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and take appropriate corrective actions to minimize disruptions to the production process.
• Communicate effectively with the dispatch team, truck drivers, and other personnel to coordinate the timely delivery of concrete to customer sites.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a Batch Plant Operator in the ready-mix concrete industry is REQUIRED.
• Solid understanding of concrete mix designs and the ability to adjust batching parameters to achieve desired results.
• Knowledge of Batch Plant operations and maintenance procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to perform accurate calculations.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
• Flexibility to work extended hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 per year
