The Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis is looking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to join our Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) Department.
You will work with the ITSM team and provide support to Ninth District business lines.
In this role you will provide day to day configuration, change and asset management functions along with overall support in managing the ITSM operation of the Federal Reserve’s Ninth District. Duties to include Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and Mega updates, Asset Management lifecycle and Change Management processes.

Onsite work is an essential function of this position, and you are expected to be in the office a minimum of 2 days per week for meetings and team collaboration.
Responsibilities:
Maintain the accuracy of the CMDB, assist in improving quality of CMDB data and cleanup/update of Configuration Item (CI) attributes in the CMDB.
Assist with the review, enhancement, and design of the overall CMDB data model and CI classes.
Provide support to internal and external audits related to the accuracy of CI data in the CMDB.
Revise, update and maintain procedures along with Knowledge Base articles, with an eye for efficiency and automation.

Provide day to day change management and configuration management responsibilities include reviewing and approving all 9th District Change requests.
Maintain all MPLS owned assets in the CMDB (workstations, mobile devices, applications, databases, local servers, etc.)
Perform individual work responsibilities while functioning as part of team managing IT assets for 1,200+ employees using ITSM best practices. Serve as an asset liaison to the District’s business lines and IT department.
Actively participate in system wide meetings representing the Ninth District.
Perform day-to-day asset management operations while ensuring data integrity and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
To be considered, you must meet one of the following education and experience requirements:
High School diploma and eight (8) years of experience in Business Systems Application and/or Information Technology environment OR
Associate degree and six (6) years of experience in Business Systems Application and/or Information Technology environment OR
Bachelor's degree and four (4) years of experience in Business Systems Application and/or Information Technology environment
In addition to meeting one of the above-listed qualifications, the following are required:
Experience in IT Service and Asset Management.
Demonstrated ability to effectively complete job functions and address issues in a rapidly changing business environment.
Excellent organizational and creative thinking skills and attention to detail.
Innovative thinking to streamline processes and improve overall performance and productivity.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal along with sound decision-making skills.
Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with others.
In addition to meeting the above required qualifications, the following are desired:
ServiceNow and/or Mega experience.
Basic IT, desktop, server, and network knowledge preferred.
