JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support Snap-on Warehousing with Infor WMS;
- Cover general day to day support;
- Bug identification and fixing with developer;
- Managing enhancement requests;
- Work closely with the Distribution Centers;
- Benchmark to assess the current system to identify areas for improvement and standardization;
- 1st support for 3rd party solutions supporting the warehouses (labelling software, labor system, integration to 3rd parties) to meet the company’s needs;
- Perform data mapping for integrations between Infor WMS and Snap-on's Infor LN enterprise resource planning;
- Gather requirements and functional specifications for enhancements;
- Identify and document functional gaps between business processes and product capabilities;
- Provide supervision and guidance for new developments;
- Inform stakeholders about any new issues or any business impact with current installations;
- Participate (as WMS resource) in future projects including the planned replacement of all Snap-on and SNAE WMS systems with Infor WMS;
- Use company issue management tool (currently Jira/ITCOE) to clearly update the progress of tickets and communicate with other resources (Developers); and
- Perform any other job responsibility as required.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, or a directly related field of study.
- 10 years of experience in EACH of the following:
- Gathering Business Requirements;
- Documenting Gaps; and
- Participating in the estimation of development efforts to satisfy Gaps.
- 10 years of experience preparing Functional Designs for Developments;
- 10 years of experience drafting scripts to test scenarios;
- 10 years of experience performing Unit Acceptance Tests;
- 10 years of experience performing User Acceptance Tests; and
- 10 years of experience in Infor Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Work from home available. Must reside within the United States.
- Requires up to 50% travel to domestic and international client locations.
- Experience may be gained concurrently.
