Kolbe Windows & Doors is seeking a Business Analyst to join our IT Project Portfolio Team. At Kolbe, our Business Analysts play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technological solutions. As a Kolbe Business Analyst, you are responsible for applying your expertise in analyzing and gathering requirements and documentation to uncover user problems, and process improvement opportunities, so that together with our IT development teams, we can deliver meaningful, valuable solutions to our business stakeholders.
What You Will Be Doing:
Requirement Gathering, Documentation, and Analysis:
· Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and elicit detailed requirements.
· Analyze and document current business processes, workflows, and systems.
· Create clear and comprehensive documentation of business requirements, user stories, and functional specifications.
· Maintain documentation throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring it reflects any changes.
Data Analysis:
· Evaluate and interpret data to provide insights into business performance.
· Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies to support data-driven decision-making.
Process Improvement:
· Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
· Work with cross-functional teams to design and implement optimized business processes.
Testing and Validation:
· Develop test cases based on requirements and participate in testing activities.
· Validate that delivered solutions meet business needs and requirements.
Communication:
· Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
· Communicate complex ideas and solutions in a clear and understandable manner.
Change Management:
· Assist in managing the impact of changes on people, processes, and systems.
· Support the development and implementation of training programs for end-users.
Risk Assessment:
· Identify, assess, and communicate potential risks associated with proposed solutions.
· Work proactively to mitigate risks and ensure project success.
Continuous Learning:
· Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
· Share knowledge and insights with the team to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
· Proven experience as a Business Analyst, CI Analyst, or a similar role.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Proficiency in tools and techniques for requirements gathering, process modeling, and data analysis.
· Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
· Optional: Business analysis certification (CBAP, PMI-PBA, etc.), Lean Six Sigma certification

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
