Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Business Operations Manager (level K) to join the Electrical Systems Responsibility Center (ESRC) team based out of Everett, Washington.

This is an exciting and unique opportunity within the ESRC Business Operations team to lead the Program Management and Digital Transformation team. In this role you will have the opportunity to work across MBUs to provide essential production support as well as support the development of our site Digital Transformation roadmap. In this position, you will successfully lead and support the development and execution of ESRC’s digital roadmap and production system solutions, which includes overall strategy, processes, communications, operating rhythm, metrics, improvements, integration, compliance, and operational excellence.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Champions technology integration to improve/transform business system architecture.

  • Forges a strategic relationship with leadership to drive execution.

  • Identifies, understands, and anticipates business needs.

  • Drives organizational strategies, priorities & initiatives.

  • Provides valued counsel and represents the voice of the business.

  • Explores, develops and communicates value added enhancements.

  • Analysis, execution, and continuous improvement of management system (including metrics).

  • Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures, and sets operational goals.

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports.

  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes.

  • Leads, develops, and motivates employees.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience leading and/or managing a team

  • 3+ years of experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers and partners

  • Experience in a role that required strong communication skills, written and verbal

  • 3+ years of experience with cross functional communication and performance reporting

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience working with Boeing business systems (e.g., CMES, or other manufacturing execution systems)

  • Experience in developing and improving business system architecture

  • Experience in Program/Project Management and Scaled Agile areas in accordance with accepted standards in the industry (e.g., PMI, Project Management Body of Knowledge [PMBOK], ANSI, SAFe, and ISO standards)

  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and its seven stages of planning, analysis, design, development, testing, implementation and maintenance

Summary pay range: $120,000.00 - $130,000.00
