Business Intelligence Analyst Job Description:
The Business Intelligence Analyst will contribute technical acumen to propel our cloud-based infrastructure initiatives, ensuring a seamless integration of our organizational processes with cutting-edge technologies.
What you will do as the Business Intelligence Analyst:
- Conduct meticulous reviews and validation of business-critical data throughout its collection phases
- Formulate and implement comprehensive policies and procedures for systematic data collection and analysis
- Engage in collaborative efforts with business units to understand and enhance data-driven decision-making processes
- Perform in-depth analysis of business operations and requirements, identifying areas for process optimization
- Pinpoint and advocate for technological solutions to refine business strategies and operational workflows
- Determine and articulate development requirements to streamline organizational operations.
- Generate insightful reports for business stakeholders using analytical tools like Microsoft Power BI
- Monitor and interpret analytics and metric outcomes to inform strategic decisions
- Assure the integrity of organizational data through rigorous data collection and utilization reviews
- Execute data profiling to identify, comprehend, and address data anomalies
What you will bring to the role as the Business Intelligence Analyst:
- Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Information Systems (CIS), Computer/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- 2+ years' experience in a technology-centric role, preferably within Business Intelligence
- Expertise in Microsoft Power BI and other data visualization tools
- Proven ability to construct robust data models
- Proficient in SQL and adept at performing complex queries and data manipulation
- Demonstrated experience in data analytics and business analysis
- Solid grounding in business administration principles
- Competence in Microsoft Office suite, with advanced skills in Excel
- Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to a non-technical audience
