Solution Design:
- Work closely with client business and technical groups to understand business needs, provide oversight, identify architectural options, evaluate options against the overall enterprise, and make recommendations that return analytic business value.
- Collaborate with internal business clients, Source systems owners, Business Analysts, and Data Architect.
- Design of Data Warehouse solutions using IBM Datastage and Microsoft Azure platform
- Create new solutions to complex design issues
- Develop long term application development strategies
- Participate in all aspects of the application lifecycle: requirements analysis & definition, system design, implementation, testing, deployment, and sustainment
- Design of Data Warehouse ETL/ELT solutions using IBM Datastage and Microsoft Azure platform
- Provide leadership in systems design and development from business requirements analysis through implementation.
- Ability to articulate technical specifications, business requirements and systems specifications. Interpret requirements into software architecture and design
- The Solution Architect is expected to drive technology decisions, product specifications, and operational processes.
- Build and integrate transactional and data warehousing systems for Microsoft Azure platform
- Lead solution design and development on implementations, migrations/upgrade projects and performance improvements for existing environments.
- Provide technical direction for the design, development, testing, implementation and maintenance of data warehouse solutions.
- provide guidance direction on data conversion, data migration, data quality database performance.
- Coordinate with developers, quality assurance testers, project managers, database administrators, business experts, and subject matter experts to deliver new and enhanced applications
- Track defects found in code, fix code, and close issues
- Deploy code, such as datastage, Unix shell scripts, and database scripts, in test, user acceptance testing, and production environments
- Review implementation plan with the client and release manager
- Serve as technical and functional lead by driving the deployment process
- Create technical documents, such as the Software Design Document, ETL Design Document, Release Notes, Install Document, and Implementation Plan
- Research and provide recommendations for a database technology roadmap, including cloud, on premise, and hybrid solutions. Active engagement in data intensive projects.
- Healthcare Payer experience
- Expereince in ETL conversion projects into Matillion.
- Working with modern cloud data warehouse platform like Snowflake or Azure Synapse Analytics.

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting hourly range for this remote role is (HOURLY$70 TO $75). This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
