Summary

The Business Intelligence Systems Analyst is a key role on the Schraad Business Intelligence team that produces industry-leading Power BI reports, analyzes data from a variety sources (internal and third-party), and supports the strategic growth objectives of the team.

Role and Responsibilities

• Generate and distribute accurate Power BI and Excel reports that clearly communicate actionable insights to end-users.
• Ensure report adoption success (internal and external) by maintaining a portfolio of client data deliverables, guiding/training users on effective report usage, and communicating clearly and regularly with key stakeholders.
• Anticipate/forecast future data needs based on acquired industry and company knowledge.
• Engage in a small - yet dynamic - team that manages and distributes a large amount of data to a variety of end users.
• Maintain processes that ensure the efficient administration of Schraad BI Initiatives.
• Provide effective and constructive feedback on internal processes.
• Extract, transform, and load data from various sources to prepare accurate and effective reporting mechanisms.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve challenges with Power BI reports, workspaces, and dashboards in an efficient and courteous manner.

Education and Other Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university required.
• Must have strong interpersonal, organizational and administrative skills, and be able to effectively communicate with others.
• Must be computer literate with a degree of proficiency in Windows and related software applications including Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Outlook required.
• Language Skills - Fluent English is required.
• Occasional travel required for employee training and conferences.

Preferred Skills

• Experienced in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes from both relational and non-relational data sources (Excel, CSV, Web, SQL etc.)
• Proficient in Data Analysis Expressions (DAX), M Language, and Python
• Basic understanding of data models
